PD Trip 2009 - Part 3

Day 3 - 22 June 2009, Monday

the day started just like the previous day, we woke up, had troubles to woke up pak su.. went for bfst.. after tht straight to the swimming pool since we had to chk out tht day..

mama, papa n hasif went out at 11am.. since we were heading straight to klia to send off tok n uwan penang for umrah.. the rest chk out around 1pm..

we had a very good time.. it was a relaxing indeed.. n very refreshing.. to be able to gather with your loved ones, with the peaceful surrounding, one cannot ask for more.. hope we can do this again some other time..

Happy Third Anniversary

Alhamdulillah.. today is our third anniversary.. third year of being today.. we are thankful for what we have.. a smart little boy, an another bun in the oven..

we just have a quiet anniversary dinner at home tonight.. since we already celebrate our pre-holiday anniversary twice this year.. ehehe best but mama is yet to blog about it..

our anniversary dinner menu.. mama cooked gulai udang galah and boiled cockles.. and also air purple.. ribena lychee..

gorgeus sungguh udang ni.. x penah kitorg tgk udang galah sebesa ni.. 2 ekor gulai penuh satu mangkuk..

for dessert we have durian.. sodap banget.. murah je kat kipmart.. 5 hengget each..

One of the greatest anniversary tht we have so far.. will write about the pre-celebration in another entry.. syukur pada Allah atas segala kurnia Nya.. may we live happily together ever after.. Aminnn..

A Day Trip to Sg Rengit

ok la.. it's not a day trip.. rather a half day trip.. sparked by Mama's recent encounter to someone's blog last Friday tht shows their good time in Victoria's Station having a good lobster.. so VS is a bit out of question since it's so far.. so surf punye surf, papa decided tht we should pay a visit to sg rengit.. mmg dr dulu dah berangan nak pegi ramunia tp x penah smpi.. sg rengit is located some 100+km away from our house..

ni budak yg tgh excited nak pegi jalan.. we went out from the house around 2:30pm..


it was raining on our way to tiram.. a bit traffic..
stop by in teluk ramunia.. nothing much here..
bujang ni suka naaa buat muka camni skang bila soh senyum..


so now we were here.. dataran sg rengit.. it's a bit too early for dinner, since it's only 4 o'clock.. so pose2 skit dulu.. see their landmark.. bigggg lobster..

so next to our main agenda.. yeaaaaa.. lot's of ppl were here having their early dinner (or is it a very late lunch), though it's only 5+pm.. biggggg lobster, variety of price depending on the size.. they hv 6 aquariums like this..
our lobster.. initally we chose the biggest one, it was close to 1 kg each (we plan to take 2 eheheh).. but the lady who serves us advised us against it.. dia ckp mana bleh habis mkn 2 org besa2 sgt.. dia soh amek kecik skit.. eheheheh blushing skit org dah ckp camtu, so we decided to get the smaller one.. this 2 lobster weigh 1.3kg.. the one on papa's left looks bigger, but the truth is they were about the same size sbb yg sekor lagi dok gulung kan bdn..
the restaurant was packed tht evening.. but the meal arrives quite fast..

this is lobster with cheese.. extremely good.. highly recommended.. hasif mkn byk banget eheheh..

hasif with the fried buns (intan, igt x, kita dok mkn bun ni dulu kt teluk jawa.. eheheh sama je rasa dia.. agak nye sume chinese seafood rest ada mendalah ni)..
we didn't order much since the lobstert is big, takut x abis.. ehehhe abis sume tinggal kulit lobster je..
this is the restaurant tht we had been to.. jade garden seafood rest.. veeeeeeery good and tasty.. highly recommended.. it received lots of good reviews on the internet.. and it is halal.. apparently some of the prominent ppl in the nations had dine here, including the tengku mahkota johor (based on the rows and rows of the photos on the wall of the restaurant).. price wise, ok we pay for wht we get.. the price is reasonable, slightly cheaper compared to tgif eheheh... so mak ngah, pak teh n pk su, next time u guys are in town, we shall save some moolah and drop by here..

overall, the place is quite far but it's all worth it.. sgt best.. next time we are going to try the steam lobster n the one with the chicken broth gravy.. yummy..

PD 2008

these photos were taken when we went to pd last year.. 8 to 10 august 2009.. stayed in tiara beach resort.. ehehe our first time there, ki je yg dah jadik duta tiara ;) on the third day, after chk out, we went to this ostrich farm, located not far from tiara.. in the entrance, they sell the food for the ostrich.. so kitorg pun beli la skit nak kasik mkn menatang2 ni.. tp mulut dia besa.. takut oo.. hasifff.. dia boring nak amek gamba ngan kita ke..? siap nguap tuu.. waaaaaaaaaa.. intim nmpk..? adik angkat ke pak teh..? eheheh.. x sure ape nama binatang ni.. cute je tgh melepek.. comel kan nmpk pale je.. kalau nmpk penuh cam sedih skit condition ostrich kt sini.. kambing tgh nenen.. overall, the place is quite expensive compared to wht they can offer.. if i'm not mistaken, they charged rm10 or 8 for each adult.. yg lawak nye leh dpt less kalau ada jusco card.. laku jusco card kt sini.. tp ostrich nye x byk n quite busuk.. and dlm condition yg agak menyedih kan.. bdn luka2 mcm br lps gaduh.. cuma yg best nye the goats are left fee to roam around the area, and they are quite tame too.. dok menggesel la kambing2 ni ehehe..

anyway can't wait for our annual PD trip at the end of june.. this time avillion again.. best.. can't wait..

Danga Cruise..

we took the danga cruise on sunday, 26 april.. had heard about the cruise for quite some times, but for some reasons never tried it.. the cruise is quite cheap if we took only the cruise without buffet dinner (rm10 only) since the cruise covers jb area and it tooks around 2 hours.. but plus buffet dinner it is 50 ea.. memandang kan lama nak naik atas tu, cam boring lak kalau x mkn2.. tmbh hasif kang kalau tgk org mkn kot2 dia meraung lak nak mkn skali, so amek la the one with dinner.. not so much ppl took the cruise tht night.. in fact only 3 parties onboard.. us, a chinese family tht consist of 3, and indian couple.. yg amek dinner only us and the chinese family.. not sure whether blk modal ke x dia bwk kitorg mlm tu eheheh..

hasif recently kalau soh senyum, suka buat muka camni.. such a big boy now.. grown up sooo fast.. on the second deck.. the ship is quite big.. 3 decks altogether.. we ate alfresco.. not so much variety for the buffet dinner.. for 40 ea, baik top u skit lagi leh buffet kt putri pacific.. but the taste is quite good.. menu was bihun grg (this one is sooooooo good.. infact momma had 2 servings of this..!), nasik putih with blackpepper beef (marvelous.. sodap sgt), ikam kembung masak kicap (alahaiii mkn ikan kombun den ateh kapal..!), chicken curry, tofu, omelette, sayo n sup sayo.. for appetizer ada la fruits, mango pudding (this one is good) and cakes (mint choc cake, kepantangan den tu..!)..all in all we had a good time.. the weather is good.. so cool and refreshing.. hasif definitely enjoyed it..
