Mamaaaaaaaaaaaaa... Mana mama niii,..? (tanya hasif)

lama dah blog ni x berupdate.. i know i did not do justice to ur blog, hasif.. hasif now already 11 months' old.. i missed his 10 and 11 months' update on his milestone progress *deep sigh, full of regret* works are piling up in the office.. the highest workload tht i ever had since i started working in tht dept.. since i can't stay until late in the office, maka mama kena la bwk blk homework.. can only start working at night after hasif fall asleep.. whc left me burning the midnight oil trying to do something tht seems like x siap2 pun.. tp kalau x bwk blk i'm the one who will hv headache in the office the next day.. this morning we woke up at 6:45am as i did not notice the sound of the alarm clock.. normally mama woke up 5:40am to prepare everything.. but last night i slept quite late trying to finish my work.. so pagi ni sume kesiangan.. lucky tht papa terjaga at 6:45am n found out tht it's already bright outside..



a brief update on hasif..

- the little munchkin is now 11+ months..
- loves music.. become sooo excited n clap his hand when he hears music or ppl singing..
- can cruising now..
- at the moment, we refrain him from eating potato as potatoes can cause constipation to hasif..
- dah pandai n sgt suka cabut smart card astro, much to our dismay.. grrrr..
- Alhamdulillah, Mama still nurse hasif.. n still bring bekal breast milk going to nursery..
- loves chocolate.. the best way to stop him from being too active in the car during a long trip blk kampung is to feed him something, esp chocolate..
- still eat the same old porridge daily.. plus fish or chicken meat..
- dah pandai bukak n 'kemas kan' peti ais..
- loves to bath.. will bite when u take him out of the bathroom as he loves to play with the water..

Milestone Progress - 9 Months Old..!!

woohoooooooooo.. hasif dah 9 months old a week ago.. tp mama buat2 bz so the update on the progress was slightly late.. we even missed the 8 months old progress report.. mmmm..

so at 9 months old hasif:

- attempt to stand without support, though still wobbly.. he's so happy when we hold his hand and encourage him to walk while saying 'tak tihhh'.. will senyum lebar smpi nmpk sume gigi once we do that..

- can clap hand and wave bye2 while saying tatataatatatataat.. ehehe mama ajar ckp babai is tata (ma learnt that from atuk and uwan ehehe).. actually hasif can do this a week before he turns 8 months old..

- has 6 teeth.. 4 on upper gum n 2 on lower gum.. all of this teeth shows up within a week after the first appearance, which around 2 months ago.. so now he's mastering the art of biting.. during our long trip blk kg last time, tgn mama dah mcm kena dera.. biru sana sini kena gigit kat hasif..

- has develop a sense of ownership.. if he's fully occupied with something, don't dare to take it away from him.. he will either bite u or scream to his heart's content or use his special weapon (menyembur air liur dgn penuh perasaan)..

- had three meals a day or more.. his fav is bubur nasik with carrot n spinach.. ohh and also chocolate.. he will grin ear-to-ear if we give him chocolate.. tp x bleh la slalu sgt.. hasif basically is not so choosy in food selection.. dia nak mkn sume yg org lain mkn.. when we blk kg last time, he tried a new variety of foods.. kuih mentalam (he love this one, consume 2 big pieces..), bubur nasik s*****, tauhu, fish soup, cekodok pisang, cucur udang n many more..

- had officially entered Separation Anxiety Phase when we balik kampung more than a week ago.. so basically now he prefers mama more than anything else on the planet.. ehehehe.. he still wants papa, luckily, but if possible he wants to always attach to ma's body.. x bleh org lain pegang nanti dia jerit.. during our long trip balik kg last time, only pak ngah managed to win his heart because pak ngah likes to show him cicak.. pak long ada skit funny experience with crying hasif ahahahahaa.. sian pak long.. he's searching high and low for ma when we were in s*****, thought ma n mak ngah went to the cafe, when infact we were in the nearby shop.. at that time has was crying out loud, trying so hard to free himself from pak long's dukungan.. pak long had to practically run in order to find ma fast (ma did not bring handphone at that time).. hasif, pak long ckp org keliling tgk pak long mcm pak long try nak kidnap hasif psl hasif tgh meraung n pak long lak jln laju2.. ehehehe..

- looks more n more like mama eheheh.. uwan said his face is a carbon copy of ma's face when i was his age..

Hasif Dah Ada Gigi Part II.......

setelah berusaha dgn gigih, finally mama n papa managed to capture this semi-perfect photos of ur brand new teeth, hasif.. :D

Hasif Dah Ada Gigi.......

hasif normally sleeps around 6:30-7:30 pm everyday until the following morning.. sometimes ma is lucky enough to be able to give him his dinner before he fall asleep.. but more often than not, hasif will be fallen asleep right after ma nursed him, after we reached home.. the routine rarely varies.. reach home around 6-6:30 pm depending on the traffic.. bring hasif for a walk outside for a while.. then nurse him..

tonite hasif fall asleep as soon as ma nursed him, at 6:30 pm.. however around 7:45pm he wakes up cranky.. ma nursed him again but he refused to sleep.. so he played afterwards.. after we had dinner (ma n pa that is), ma decided to massage his gum.. to release some of the pains of teething.. we had notice the outline of the teeth on his gum a few days ago.. so i cleaned my finger n tried to massage his gum.. i'm sooo surprised to find that something hard n sharp are bulging out from the upper gum.. which only means one thing............

Hasif dah tumbuh gigi.. yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..............

we are sooooooooo excited.. we tried to make him laugh with his mouth wide open.. and true enough.. gigi atas dah kuar satu.. warna putih (cam gigi mama :D)

we tried to capture the photo... but seems to be veryyyyy difficult..

this is the best that we can get.. the white thing inside the mouth, on the right.. papa tricked hasif in order to capture this one.. pretend as if he will let hasif bite on the tali camera.. so when hasif opens his mouth.. tadaaaaaaa.. papa bijak kan hasif :D

we are soooooooo happy n proud of u hasif.. waaa big boy dah ni.. dah ada gigi.. glad that he has no fever whatsoever that sometimes happen during the teething process.. but he did has an interrupted sleeps at night.. n he loves to put his fingers inside his mouth.. n he sometimes made that funny sound with his mouth.. guess that was when his gum feels itchy.. i once read that it's the first tooth that caused the most discomfort.. so hopefully hasif dah ok la eh..

Look at what Papa and Mama got me ....

Yesterday was another good day...... I woke up so early..so was Papa and Mama. We all went strolling dekat Tasik nearby our house..... ramai org joging kat situ ..including few monyets....:).. Mama actually scared of them....afraid that the monkey will attack me... nonetheless...Tasik was fun..... mama said it's good to 'menghirup udara segar' once a while. After that, we all went to this 'Kuali Mas' restaurant to have breakfast....hmmm actually for Mama and Papa je....me....just sit there la .. cuz Mama said I cant eat all those big boy food yet....then we came back to our home sweet home cuz I felt sleepy already....

In the afternoon, after having my lunch... Papa asked if we want to go to Jusco Tebrau to get me a walker... as Papa wanted to buy one for me since Hari Raya time, but reluctant to do so.....Off we go to Tebrau at around 1 o'clock......... Jusco Tebrau was so crowded...full of people.. Papa has to que very long just to pay for 2 pack of Yakult......We didn't find Walker that we really wanted at Jusco, so we went to Toy'R us instead.....

We get home around 5PM, and Papa took out the walker... and this is what happen....I'm so excited......seee me in action..:)

Papa has calculated my 'mengesot' speed. Papa said I can move 75cm in 15sec, that is equivalatent to 0.05m/s = 0.003km/hr.... hmmm not bad heh....

This is me in my new walker...Thanks Papa and Mama...I luv you both dearly...

7 Months' Old!!

waaaaaaaaaaa.. this guy turns 7 month's old = 210 days today.. time surely flies.. at 7 months, hasif:

- dah pandai mengensot dgn laju nya.. especially when he's motivated with his fav toys, newspaper, his bag mekap (the bag tht we use to put all his after bath oil, vicks, etc..), etc..

- loves to detach his pamper's tape.. when changing his diaper, while we are struggling with his pant, he normally manages to do those.. ishh ishh ishhhhh x sempat pakai seluar, pampers dah tertanggal blk..

- has his meals 2 - 3 times daily.. his diet consists of either brown rice porridge with spinach / carrot / potato, or nestle rice cereal or gerber's baby food (the one in the bottle).. a friend advised ma to boil fruits, like apple or pear and blend those for hasif.. we have yet to try this.. hope u will like it hasif..

- has no problem with unfamiliar faces.. last time during raya, masa jalan raya, mama n papa just pass him to the tuan rumah or our other relatives so that we can have our meal in peace.. as long as u look at him directly in the eyes n buat muka badut, he will surely be entertained..

- turn when we call his name..

- bakul hasif cannot accommodate him anymore.. before this, we put hasif in his bakul when ma send him over to the babysitter.. but his growing size does not permit this anymore.. besides hasif suka sgt nak meniarap dlm bakul yg kecik tu.. n he will normally hold the bakul's handle n pull himself to a sitting position, dlm bakul, in the moving car, with ma's driving.. aiyooo so scary.. these days, we place hasif in his car seat.. seems like he's enjoying this.. wider view i guess.. esp if it's raining.. terdiam terus hasif.. khusyuk tgk wiper ngan air hujan..

waaa big boy in the car.. dah jadi mama's co-pilot skang..

- still relying on ma's milk.. Alhamdulillah.. blom campo with formula yet..

ehehe hasif tgh nak pumping ke tu..?

watching him growing up right in front of our very own eyes is priceless.. before, we can simply put him in the middle of the bed or on a clean mattress in front of the tv, surrounded with his toys n fully expecting him to be just there when we come back.. but now with his increasing mobility, we can no longer leave him unattended.. next thing we know hasif will be leaving home for college.. how time flies.. we will definitely treasure each and every moment that we have together..

Weaning..

yeayyyyyyyyy.. we had given hasif his first taste of solid food last weekend.. sunday night, 23 sept after buka puasa, we gather in front of the tv.. happy mama was sitting right next to hasif, munching chocolate.. at that time hasif was playing.. but suddenly i noticed that he stared intently at me while making a chewing motion.. he even licked his lips.. I felt sadden with what i saw.. initially he was rolling over happily.. but when he noticed that i'm eating chocolates, he stopped and drooling over my food.. mak ngah said that it's ok if i gave him just a little bit of the chocolate for him to savour.. n i did.. n seems like hasif really enjoyed the taste.. so hasif's 1st solid food was kit kat chunky.. i did not gave the wafer though.. only the outer layer of the chocolate..

then yesterday when we were going out, papa bought a box of farley's rusk for hasif..

ehehhe mama n papa so excited.. first i nurse him n let him took a nap.. after about 20 mins, hasif wakes up.. n it time for his meal.. :D seronok nye rasa.. n i have to say that hasif really loves the rusk.. papa cut the rusk to smaller portion n hand it to hasif.. but hasif did nothing to the rusk except banging it to his hip.. lps tu mama decided that mungkin mama patut suap kan hasif rusk tu.. initially he refused to open his mouth, but once he did, he did not want to stop anymore :) n he keeps on pushing my hand, as if he want me to thrust the rusk further to his mouth..

okay.. pki bib dulu.. nanti kalau sememeh abis la baju comot..

5 Months' Progress

hasif was 5 months old on tuesday last week, 11 Sept.. we weighed him 2 days before he reached his 5 months' birthday (during the immunization shot), and he's 7 kg at that time.. let's see his milestone progress at 5 months..

this is our big boy at 5 months old..

this little guy now can now roll over effortlessly from his front to back, and from back to his front.. and he seems to be enjoying his skills so much that more often than not, it is the first thing that he'll do once he open his eyes.. in fact lately when he wakes up middle of the night for his milk, he will roll over first and make some noise to announce that he's already hungry.. then bila dah kenyang he will turn his head to the other side and starts to roll over again with his eyes closed.. sound asleep eheheh..

hasif is also moving so fast nowadays that i'm afraid to leave him out of my sight.. especially in the morning when we are getting ready for office.. he normally sleeps at 7 pm and wakes up at 6-6:30 am the following morning.. at that time we are busy preparing ourselves.. thus he entertain himself by playing and rolling over.. he will keeps on rolling until he’s near to the edge of the bed.. we normally barricade all the edges of the beds with pillow.. eehehe.. but this morning I noticed that he happily rest his back on one of the pillow while kicking his legs high up the air.. n the pillow shifts position..! it’s so scary.. wonder if they sell the ‘gate’ for our king size bed.. so that our bed will looks like a giant baby bed.. ehehhe like the one for baby’s cot.. we can let him sleep in his bed (which is a present from Mak Ngah actually.. thanks mak ngah.. muahhhh) but I’m afraid that his movement will be limited there.. at nite hasif normally sleeps vertically in between us.. but by midnite, he’s already aligned perpendicular to our original sleeping position and when he wakes up he loves to kick either one of us.. much to papa’s dismay, especially if it’s 6 am on Sunday morning ehehehe..

waktu siang hasif selalu nye tdo dlm buaian.. n he normally sing 'lullaby' for himself until he fall asleep.. n suddenly senyap je.. dia dah lena rupa nye..

hasif now also like to raise his cute little butt up.. n push his chest n face forward.. this is the first time that I had seen baby trying to crawl.. n I have to say that it’s impressive and very very cute.. :)

his strength and coordination is also improving.. he can now grab small items, and picks up his toys if it’s fell down.. and he’s now also in the process of mastering the art of clearing the dining table, especially if u sit him on ur lap while having ur meal.. like last time when we have lunch in sushi king, I hold him since the floor of the dining table is slightly elevated compared to the aisle where we put his stroller.. so he seems to be very far down in his stroller when we eat.. thus we agreed to take turn to hold him while eating.. the moment I sit him on my lap, he starts sweeping both the menus, and the cutlery set on the floor with one giant sweep, with his little hand.. ehehehe.. abis sume jatuh lantai.. n when mama tried to eat her meal, he also made chewing motion and extend his hand to my serving.. as if to help himself with the meal.. eheheh.. sometime we wonder if he’s now ready for solid food.. but after consultation with the doctor, we decided to hold until he’s a good 6 months old baby.. at least his digestive system is matured at that time.. ehehe can’t wait for him to start weaning.. but for the meantime, I guess breastmilk is enough for u eh hasif..

hasif can now sits rather steadily, attended.. with no assistance, he can only hold himself straight for a good 30 seconds or so before toppling down to his side.. guess in a couple weeks time he’s already strong enough to sit on his own.. can’t wait to buy a high chair for him.. sit him there and feed him his solid food.. ehehe.. sounds like a big boy.. but once he starts weaning, he will be less dependent on me and reduce the number that I will nurse him :( guess that’s how life’s goes on..

Little hands that hold the world eheheh..

friday morning was a joy.. papa hasif passed a rattle to our much-loved baby n we were amazed to see that hasif can now held the rattle quite steadily.. it’s this little rattle with a small, round handle that we bought in Anakku some times ago.. I excitedly report this to our babysitter when I sent hasif over.. apparently hasif had this little skill for quite some time already, according to the babysitter.. yeah, we leave some of hasif’s toys in their house.. the small rattle, play gym etc.. but at home, we normally let hasif play with his book or blocks or other rattle, normally the fisher price’s rattle.. his tiny fingers cannot grab the handle of this rattle as it is quite big.. only that morning papa gave him the anakku rattle which fits into his hand perfectly.. mm talking bout the right size toys for ur kids.. we really should think about it.. we notice this milestone slightly late as we did not hand him the right size toys for him.. like last time.. hasif were still using the mitten until 3 months’ old.. we finally decided to remove the mitten for good since he kept on sucking on his mitten.. smpi basah lencun mittens tu.. my sis said its’ nicer to watch baby sucks their fingers or even their fist rather than their mitten, so remove those mitten.. apparently, after we remove his mitten we see that his hands become more active.. keeps on batting his hanging toys in the play gym.. try to grab those toys and all.. he can do a lot of things with his hand since it’s free from those mitten.. I’m slightly regret at that time actually.. cause I felt like if remove the mitten earlier, he can start to play his hands earlier.. but now I guess it’s ok la.. better late than never I guess..

Current Progress

previously a passive observer of his surrounding, this little boy had move up a notch.. now he is a very active participant for his surrounding..always mumbling incoherently.. he will smile and laugh and talk when he hears u talking.. sometimes this little boy also can be very perasan cos he even smile and talk when u are singing.. as if u are talking to him..eheheh..

changing his cloth n wet diapers also had becomes quite a task since this boy now dah semakin lasak.. whenever we remove his diaper, he will curl up his leg, like he's in fetal position.. maybe because his bare bottom rasa sejuk kena angin.. so makin susah la nak pasang kan new diaper..

feedings now also can be challenging since hasif will stop n turned away from u at each and every new noise that distracts him... he's now becomes increasingly aware of, and interested in the world around him.. so basically u have to be very very patient in order to feed him.. as for mama hasif.. one of my best moment is to hold my sleeping baby in my arms.. yg dah kekenyangan after i breastfeed him..

the strength and coordination of his hands are also improving.. he will grab everything within his reach.. be it ur hair.. ur tudung.. ur clothing.. his own kain buaian.. anything basically.. our baby loves to reach out and touch anyone and anything he can grasp onto.. and when u hold (dukung) him in such a way that ur right hand is supporting his bottom n ur left hand is on his back for support, u will notice that he will cling tightly to u n suddenly u will feel like ur neck or ur collar is already wet.. dah basah dia hisap.. adoiii.. he loves to put everything that he picks up straight to his mouth.. now his capabilies are limited.. thus x banyak sgt yg bleh di collect utk bawak masuk mulut.. skit hari lagi.. mmmm God only knows.. he loves sucking his fingers also.. one finger.. or sometimes smpi 3 jari dia sumbat kan dlm mulut.. lps tu keliling mulut dia sememeh with his own saliva.. how adorable.. (eheheh of course la adorable since he's our own flesh and blood).. we also love watching him play with his hands.. the way he clasp his hands ever so tighly..

by now Hasif had been physically capable of making it through the night without feeding.. he now sleeps for a long stretch of time, up to 6 or 7 hours before he becomes restless that indicates he's already hungry.. or sometimes i will wake up to the sound of him sucking up his finger or simply his lips.. kesian hasif lapar.. we make it a point that hasif has a predictable, positive bedtime routine, which entails putting him to bed at the same time every night.. he normally sleeps at 7pm everyday until the following morning.. of course this routine will be disrupted if we are going out.. so as much as possible we try to stay at home this time around so as not to disturb his beauty sleep..

yesterday papa hasif was not working.. independence day for singapore..everytime that he's not working, papa is the one who will take care of baby hasif.. so no need to send hasif over to the babysitter.. after i came back from office yesterday, we went to the lake.. the lake garden is actually very near to our home.. maybe 5 mins walking.. but we drive la of course, takut nanti tak larat pulak nak jalan balik rumah.. eheheh.. hasif loves being outdoor.. wind-blown trees or leaves always fascinates him.. these i had notice for quite some time already.. tapi mama malu skit la jln2 kt tasik smlm as everybody's in their sport's gear but i come complete with baju kurung and hand bag.. ehmmmmm... slightly out of place la.. but since i jenis tak kisah.. so no big deal la for me..

HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS LITTLE BOY.. sometimes i just wished that time will pass slowly as i want ot savour every moments that i have with my darling baby.. and to share him with my darling husband.. it's priceless.. and i really thankful to Allah for letting our path crossed.. he is so right for me (tak tau la kan org nak kata apa.. but for me.. my other half really completes me)..
